Why do some businesses treat sustainability as a costly burden, while others transform it into growth?

Why do some leaders see minimal ROI on ESG, while others build resilience and attract capital with confidence?

Why do some companies struggle with sustainability reporting, while others leverage it to build trust and momentum?

Can your business overcome these challenges?

The answer is yes!

Hi, I’m Tim and I’m the founder of Ancoram.

My turning point

I discovered my purpose at the intersection of three powerful experiences:

Witnessing the real impact of environmental and social challenges on people’s lives

Developing deep expertise in technical accounting

Feeling called to leave this planet better than I found it

During my time at firms like KPMG and Deloitte, I discovered an unusual passion for technical accounting. The complex frameworks that make most people's eyes glaze over became my playground, and I developed such depth that I advised other accountants on navigating some of the most complex areas of corporate reporting.

Birth of Ancoram

The idea for Ancoram took shape when I recognised how sustainability reporting could transform compliance into competitive advantage. We are quite literally anchored in the sustainability conversation - Ancoram is Latin for anchor, but also:

Hope

Support

Shelter

As an ACCA-regulated firm, we help corporate leaders navigate ESG regulations while transforming requirements into drivers of growth and resilience. This isn't about ticking boxes, it's about building businesses that thrive in uncertain conditions while creating meaningful impact.

My mission extends beyond Ancoram to nurturing leaders who build truly resilient businesses. We focus on FTSE 350 companies, Irish listed groups, and large PE-backed businesses: those with both capability and determination to transform risk into resilience.

If you share this vision of business as a force for good and sustainability as strategic advantage, I'd love to connect.
